ex sent a message in it, of course i got notified. So, them reconnecting im sure has smth to do w it.Īnyways, the ex friend invited my ex to this mutual friend's discord server, but it has been dead for well over a year. I found out recently that he rekindled a friendship w/ an ex friend who hurt me really badly in January this year - this friend was treating me rly weird, basically expecting stuff from me what u would expect from a partner, and then when i asked for space he removed me w/o saying anything - and he knew how ive been hurt like this before. i had not talked with him for a month and neither he nor his friends said anything to me He did a lot of petty stuff but it came to a head 2 weeks ago when i saw that he not only removed me, but blocked me, everywhere. he knows i have trauma from being ghosted/cut off abruptly by previous friends/exes and he reassured me he wouldnt do that and that he really cared abt me. I have been struggling immensely the past month with betrayal - ex broke up w me 2 months ago, said he wanted space and that he would reach out. i think they are intentionally trying to provoke me. an ex friend is in that server, and became friends (again) with my ex and invited my ex to the server. TLDR am in a friend's discord server that has been Very Dead. Submitted by AmuseDeath to patientgamers Ģ023.05.18 09:34 helpmeuhoh should i say something? i feel like i keep getting dragged back in

Anybody into handhelds? What are your favorites? Anyone also recently pick up a 3DS? I have about 6 of them. It just meant that developers had to think outside the box and think up of ways to make the game design better, not just add more polygons. There's just something so cool for me when I see an original Game Boy game that is made so well, yet it was made in the early 90s with all of its limitations. It just goes to show that graphics aren't everything.

The developers had to be extremely creative and adaptable to make games good on the handhelds. So while on paper, I should have an inferior gaming experience on handhelds, the thing that keeps me going is that I am so impressed with how the games have done so much with so many technical limitations that you don't have with plug-in consoles or PC. I like Tetris Effect on the Xbox, but something about playing the old school Tetris game with its Russian theme song feels so right. A good example is my recent Tetris addiction. The newest ones look colorful and vibrant, but it is just so spartan and pure with the original Red and Blue versions. You just get your music, your controls and the mechanics. You don't get graphical quality with something like Super Mario Land.
FINAL FANTASY XIV LODESTONE SPECIAL FRIEND RECRUIT PORTABLE
I like how on these portable games, games are distilled to its purest form. But despite these limitations, handhelds intrigue me. And of course you just have a severe lack of graphical power. And of course the small screen on the handheld makes games harder to see.

And of course you have so many more input options on console like joysticks, steering wheels, different controller shapes, etc. It's just really uncomfortable holding a device for hours that is heavy and not that ergonomic compared to holding an actual controller or using mouse and keyboard. I would say the two biggest cons of portable gaming are comfort and options. It just made me think of handheld gaming in general and the pros and cons of it. I was playing Top Gear Pocket the other day and it's still just as fun as the modern racing games. I now have access to the libraries of 5 Nintendo handhelds and there are so many hidden gems that I just don't have the time for it all:Īnd while I do admit that the 3DS games are the latest and best looking, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are more fun or better. Since the eShop closed for the Nintendo 3DS, I've went ahead and modded my system and man.
